Your wedding day is full of memorable moments. It is a day full of emotions - a party full of joy. It is a time you never want to forget. Its the beginning of the next part of your life - the start of your story.

a Day in the Light Photography can help you capture the first chapter of that story. We will be there to help you preserve the moments, to preserve the day for you to look back on for years to come.

After the Session

Within a month of your session, you will receive a link to an online photo gallery. This gallery includes options to download full resolution and web sized photos. The album also has professional lab printing services available - you can print anything from single photos to gallery wall hangings. 




Wedding Pricing


Wedding collections start at $2,000 for four hours of coverage with two shooters. Additional hours may be booked at $500 per hour. We suggest booking at least 6-8 hours to make sure that your entire wedding is captured. All wedding collections include fully edited photos that are yours to keep. Prints and canvases are also available for purchase. We will work with you from the time of booking to help coordinate a wedding day schedule, including what pictures you want to make sure we capture.

Engagement sessions are $500 at the location of your choice. These sessions include two shooters, and last about an hour.  Each session includes fully edited photos that are yours to keep. Prints and canvases are also available for purchase.

Where are you located?

We are located in Portland, Oregon, but will shoot weddings pretty much anywhere in the Pacific Northwest!

Do you have a 2nd shooter?

That, our dear friends, is the beauty of a Day in the Light!  We come as a set, so ANY shoot that we do, we come together!

Do you charge a travel fee?

If your wedding is outside the Portland-Metro area, we do charge a travel fee. We will work with you to determine an appropriate fee depending on location and season.

When should we book with you?

We recommend booking at least six months before your wedding, so we have plenty of time to get to know you and to coordinate your wedding timeline.  That would also give us time for an engagement session for those Save-the-Dates as well! However, we are also available for last minute bookings, pending availability.

What goes in to your collection?

Our wedding collection is a seamless, fuss-free experience!  With our guidance, you decide on a time frame for your wedding photography, and you can add time on as needed.  We don't schedule any other sessions on your wedding day so we can be as flexible as you need.  You get two photographers, and all edited, high-resolution digital files, with print options available to suit your needs.  

What is your photography style?

We like to say we're a blend between photo-journalistic and lifestyle.  We love capturing those authentic, candid moments, but we will also make sure you get great aunt Judy in the group as well.

Do you provide digital files?

Yes!  We believe your wedding photos are yours to share and print as you need throughout your lives together.

How many images will we see?

On average, you can expect between 50-100 edited photos per hour of photography.

When will we receive our images?

We will be able to deliver the entire wedding album within a month.

Do you have a business licence?

Yes, we're a legit business.  No under the table tax evasion from us!  (Anna-Lisa is a financial analyst.  Even the thought of tax fraud gives her nightmares!)
